Lighthouse keepers day

On Friday 4th May KS1 held their very first Lighthouse Keeper day. The children in Years 1 and 2 spent their day doing all sorts of things to help Mr Grinling the lighthouse keeper:

They made a lighthouse; designed and completed an electrical circuit to put on top of their lighthouse and they made a switch to turn the light on and off. They also prepared Mr Grinling’s favourite dessert, made a pesky seagull model and played lighthouse keeper games and they even found out some of Mr Grinling’s favourite jokes.

The pupils looked fantastic in their Lighthouse Keeper outfits. Thank you to all parents for their support!
